The GarageCam is now a FOSCAM F18918W camera with infrared capability. At night or when the lights are off in the shop, the image will be shades of grey. When the lights are on in the shop, the image should be in full color. If you would like to view the live camera, send us an email, and we'll set up an account on the camera and email you back your User name and Password. You will need both at the first FOSCAM prompt. At the main FOSCAM prompt, choose either:

ActiveX Mode - if you are running Microsoft Internet Explorer on old MS Windows
Server Push Mode - if you are running Safari, Firefox, or Edge
Mobile Phone - if you are accessing this page with a mobile phone

Depending on your operating system and which browser you are using, you may have to answer various security prompts to allow the camera software to run on your device. For Microsoft Internet Explorer, you may have to go into the Internet Options menu, and adjust the settings to allow ActiveX modules to run. If you are running Windows 8, you may also have to add the IP address of the camera to the compatibility list.

Note that ActiveX is not supported in Windows 10 and beyond, so if you are running Windows 10, use the Server Push Mode option.
